How to set up your studio

In the video, we explain step by step how you can set up your new animation studio so you’re ready to animate your story!

In our example, we use a chair and a bedside lamp. You can stick your tablet on the table with blu tack or you can use tripods and clamps. These can all be bought online.

There isn’t just one way of setting up your studio. It all depends on what you have available.

Tips

• If using a lamp, have the cable safety taped down so that the cable is not in anyone’s way.

• The phone/tablet should be nice and static. Keep it still and in the same place.

• Have a clear surface to animate on (table or floor).

• Have some light in your work area (bedside light or the main light in a room).
