How to animate

Now, it’s time to animate your story, so you can show everything you’ve learned to all your friends and family.

In the video above, you’ll learn how you can take pictures and move around with your characters and backgrounds.

Top Tips

• Take lots of images. 1 second of the film consists of around 12 images.

• Make sure your hands are out of the frame before you take a picture.

• Have patience and don’t be afraid to make mistakes. If you do accidentally take a wrong picture, you can always delete it again and take a new one.

• Work with your partner and take turns, so one of you takes the picture, while the other one moves the character.

• Make small movements for a smooth animation.

• Keep checking back on it every so often to see how it's shaping up.
