Half-Term Halloween Animation Workshop (Ages 8–12)

For those who want to stay later there will be 4pm - 5pm movie time with popcorn!
Get ready for three spine-tingling days of creativity, monsters, and movie magic this October half-term! Step into the world of stop motion animation and bring your spookiest ideas to life in our Halloween-themed animation workshop for young creatives aged 8 to 12.
Over the course of three immersive days, you’ll experiment with different animation styles, learn how to storyboard terrifying tales, build creepy characters, and even try your hand at animating jump scares! From haunted houses to ghastly ghouls, you’ll design and direct your very own mini horror short—perfect for Halloween.
Expect hands-on fun with model making, voice acting, sound effects, scripting, and filming, all in a supportive and collaborative studio environment. Whether you're a seasoned animator or just love getting creative, this workshop will boost your skills and unleash your imagination.
On the final day at 4pm, we’ll host a spooky screening for family and friends—if they’re brave enough to watch!
No prior experience is needed—just bring your imagination, a love for all things eerie, and a willingness to try something new.
Parents - desks are available…
We have a few desks available for parents who would like to work on a laptop during the session. Grab a coffee and use the precious time while the film studio gets into gear!
