Young Producers at The National Gallery

By September 21, 2016Blog

We’re very excited to be able to share with you the latest video creation from the incredibly talented group from the October Gallery Collective which was produced on a recent Chocolate Films workshop. We are doubly excited as the film was made in conjunction with The National Gallery! Over a 3 day workshop the October Gallery Collective designed, wrote, shot and edited a promotional film for The National Gallery’s newly launched Young Producers programme. This is just the latest in a number of videos we’ve made with the young people from the October Gallery and we can’t wait till our next workshop with them.

The Young Producers is an amazing new opportunity. In The National Gallery’s own words: “The National Gallery is recruiting a vibrant team of 10 Young Producers with a wide variety of skills and interests to lead a range of activities that will inspire our visitors. Young Producers is a 12-month (part-time) training opportunity. It is designed to build workplace skills through real experience and collaboration with creative professionals and peers.”

If you’re aged 18-25 and are interested in taking part then make sure you visit https://www.nationalgallery.org.uk/young-producers
