Silhouette Animation Workshop

Chocolate Films filmmaker Pete recently visited Westminster Academy to deliver a 2 hour animation workshop for a group of year 8 pupils. It was focussed on silhouette style animation using a lightpad and cardboard cutout characters. They learnt how to use the dragonframe software, the basic principles of stop-motion animation and the concept of visual storytelling. It was such a success, that the teacher emailed to let us know that the pupils haven’t stopped talking about it!
