Chocolate Films at the Museums and Heritage Show 2016

By May 25, 2016Blog

Last week Chocolate Films Workshops hosted a stand at the Museum and Heritage Show for two fantastic days of workshops, talks and building new relationships. We met museums and heritage organisations from around the world from Dubai to Hong Kong as well as the UK such as  The Diving Museum, The National Coal Mining Museum, and The Liverpool Museums.

Chocolate Films Director, Mark Currie, kicked off the two days with a talk about using creative video in museum learning with Anna Ravenscroft from IWM. The talk showcased our award winning New Perspectives Project developed in partnership with IWM. The project has become an exemplary model for combining digital media created on workshops with exhibitions and we were so pleased to see an audience of over 100 people interested in our work.

We also offered visitors the chance to try their hands at lightbox animation and created a wonderful animation, inspired by the film “Night at the Museum”,  which can be seen below.
