A we announced on our blog last week, Chocolate Films and our local schools as our ‘How To Succeed At School’ project concluded after three years! We set out to help primary school pupils build on their maths and literacy learning through media skills. This year we worked with three schools:Archbishop Sumner C of E Primary School, St. John the Divine C of E Primary School and Reay Primary School. You can watch all 9 of the short films here.

The Fallout was was made by KS2 pupils at St John the Divine in Lambeth as part of our 3 year project ‘How to Succeed at School’. In this short film facilitated by Chocolate Films, pupils worked on their literacy learning with adventure as pupils starred acted out a futuristic alien mission thats ends with friendship and comprehension questions.

Lost Friends was made by KS2 pupils at Archbishop Sumner C of E primary school in Lambeth as part of our 3 year project ‘How to Succeed at School’. In this short film facilitated by Chocolate Films, pupils worked on their literacy learning as we visit Peace High School where Super Villain Monkey is a bully. What will happen next?

The Rock vs. The Hulk was made by KS2 pupils at Archbishop Sumner C of E primary school in Lambeth as part of our 3 year project ‘How to Succeed at School’. In this short film facilitated by Chocolate Films, Arianna attempts to save us from the The Hulk, but she must answer a few maths equations first.

The Key to Space was made by KS2 pupils at Archbishop Sumner C of E primary school in Lambeth as part of our 3 year project ‘How to Succeed at School’. In this short film facilitated by Chocolate Films, Mike the astronaut crashed his spaceship but finds his stay in the Space Hotel to be more than her bargained for.

Science Experiment Gone Wrong was made by KS2 pupils at Reay Primary School in Lambeth as part of our 3 year project ‘How to Succeed at School’. In this short film facilitated by Chocolate Films, we learn a cautionary tale on the marvellous menace of the banana.

Max Saves The Day was made by KS2 pupils at Reay Primary School in Lambeth as part of our 3 year project ‘How to Succeed at School’. In this short film facilitated by Chocolate Films, Max oversleeps and wakes to find that his daughter has been kidnapped and the jewels have been stolen, but wait, the thief has left a trail. Will Max save the day?

Finn’s Lost Sword was made by KS2 pupils at St John the Divine Primary School in Lambeth as part of our 3 year project ‘How to Succeed at School’. In this short film facilitated by Chocolate Films, Finn’s sword is stolen by intergalactic thieves and the only way to get it back is to build a rocket. Will Finn and his friends get back his sword?

Bad Never Wins was made by KS2 pupils at Reay Primary School in Lambeth as part of our 3 year project ‘How to Succeed at School’. In this short film facilitated by Chocolate Films, a brave young girl sets out to find a very special diamond, only to find it is in the clutches of two demon ninja’s who have taken over an abandoned museum. Adele and the Haunted House was made by KS2 pupils at St John the Divine in Lambeth as part of our 3 year project ‘How to Succeed at School’. In this short film facilitated by Chocolate Films, Adele is dared to enter a haunted house, but when a spider ties her up in a web, will she be able to free herself by answering a maths equation?
