We have some exciting news! Over the summer of 2017 our animators were in residence at Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew with an animation workshop for all ages. With support from our animation facilitators, visitors to the gardens created a charming animation about the journey of pollinators in the gardens, and the ecosystem they uphold. Love Bug is the tale of an oil beetle and the pollinators that she meets along the way, all told beautifully in 2D stop motion animation. It was a brilliant project that broke the record for number of people involved in the creation of an animation with 2753 people in total!
The film is now on show at Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew in the Princess of Wales conservatory, and can be seen until 14th December. Love Bug will also be on show at Odeon Studio in Richmond from today until the end of December before screenings of Frozen, Despicable Me 3, Nut Job 2 and The Man Who Invented Christmas.
