Participants enjoy working creatively together and discovering more about the filmmaking process during these inspiring unpressured workshops. They work well as part of corporate team building days and we can be flexible to work to your time considerations.
At the heart of our corporate workshops is the aim of providing staff members with a rewarding, team building experience. Participants will work closely to develop creative ideas, they will rely on one another to pitch and develop this ideas into story and characters that will then form the basis of a film that the group will create collaboratively.
The day will often begin with a challenge that relates to the organisation that they work for. The script writing process then focuses on messaging, clear communication and creative development. For example, for Barclays, Chocolate Films facilitated a large scale team building workshop which focused on communicating and taking ownership of the bank’s values.
As crew members, participants will need to work together as a team to enable them to effectively film all of their shots within the allocated time. The editing process will push these team building skills further so that the shot choices made and the way in which the film is cut together reflect the group’s creative direction and decisions.
Chocolate Films has extensive experience training adults to enable them to then make their own films and train others in filmmaking.
Often organisations choose to produce content for their own channels. Chocolate Films can help with tailored camera and editing skills. For example when RICA wanted to carry out a large-scale research project with interviews across the country, we advised on kit purchase, and training in video production to enable them to perform the interviews themselves.
Chocolate Films is a leading video production company for the corporate sector with clients such as the Institute of Directors and Arup. For more information about Chocolate Films Productions click here.
"Thanks for the huge part you played running the I Am Creative programme at The Complete Works during this term. Thanks to Ross and Harriet from Chocolate Films who did a great job of facilitating the sessions. It was so great to have so many creative minds enthusiastically working together to come up with the best possible pitch to B&Q. As the judges said at the final, the work you created was exceptional! Well done again!"− Zosia Mrozek-Folkierska - Assistant Creative Programme Leader , Ideas Foundation
"Being involved in SElect18films/Chocolate Films has helped my recovery beyond any words I can summon, indeed, I struggled so much with social phobia that I doubt I'd been able to express myself before my involvement with Chocolate Films. The filmmaking process has helped me overcome these issues with social phobia and awkwardness and to realise that one of my strengths is actually in social settings with an ability to communicate. "− Mark Brown - Participant, SElect18 Films
"I learnt sound and recording, focus, to pay attention and concentration. I can make films now because I learnt how to do it."− John - Year 4, Sunnyhill Primary School
